"An Interlude Between Two Places was written for Chamber Music Tulsa and the Israeli Chamber Project for the Migration themed concert. The work reflects on my experiences and accompanying emotions that come with leaving one home for another. I remember being 5 years old, in the week between leaving my first home and arriving to my new one, when we didn't have housing. Instead we stayed with a friend of my father. I remember the disorientation of my first six months being around a new language. I remember feeling like an outsider again. I dedicate this work to everyone who has been here." - Noam Faingold
