About Me

Joel Schimek joins Chamber Music Tulsa as Executive Director for the 2026-2027 season. He previously served as Associate Director, Marketing & Audience Services at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and has further experiences in development and event production. Joel holds an M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership (Arts Adminstration) and a B.S. in Entertainment Business from Oklahoma City University. A double bassist, Joel has performed with the Fort Smith Symphony.
